Our Philosophy:
 

     Flying Change Farm is not a "Sale Barn" -- it is a dressage training facility that usually has a few horses available for sale. In addition, due to a very large student base, we also usually know of some very nice horses that are either for sale, or will be available soon.

     At Flying Change Farm we pride ourselves in matching horses and riders carefully for a happy and successful long-term relationship. We understand that every rider is different -- in personality, needs and desires -- and we work hard only to show horses that could be that person's "dream horse."

     Each horse at Flying Change Farm is in a training program and treated as if it was staying here forever. The basics are correct and movements only taught when the horse is ready mentally and physically. The horses are hacked and jumped as well as trained in the dressage arena -- we find that this makes for well-adjusted horses and happier clients in the future. If old enough, we like to take the horses to shows so they get well exposed to new situations. It is important to us that we know the horses well and represent them honestly.

     Every horse is an individual, and we are very selective when purchasing -- traveling both within the US and to Holland and Germany in search of horses with dressage talent, natural athletic ability and the right temperament. While we appreciate talent, we also understand that soundness and rideabililty are imperative to move up the levels. It is very important to us that you represent your needs and riding ability honestly so no time is wasted looking at inappropriate horses.

     Finally, we try to price the horses so that they are the absolute best you will see in that price range -- quality for money. We hope that this will make for quick and easy sales and happy customers!
